About me
Testing has always been fun for Kristjan - the thrill of finding important issues, nailing the sequence for that intermittent bug and, in a sense, besting the developers. It soon emerged that he needs to learn a lot to keep up but the only training courses that struck a chord with him involved games.
Kristjan started taking testing seriously and built his own testing challenges for teaching it to others. Refining them over many years in testing conferences and with university students. Participating in closed beta testing for video games and working in the iGaming industry gave him a whole different look of what fun could be when it’s the main goal of a product. His teaching is practical, but grounded in theory strong enough for people to apply outside the exercise.
Over the years Kristjan has been part of many projects, from low level embedded C to cutting-edge web development. in roles spanning engineering, testing, teaching, and team leadership. He is currently Head of Developer Experience, focused on removing technical and organizational obstacles for engineers.
